Uttu is a Sumerian Goddess who is a Creation Goddess who weaves Intention and Magick into everything. She is associated with Fertility, Harvest, and the Cycles of Life. She helps Balance come from Chaos and Harmony come from Discord. Uttu has been said to be the Weaver of Existence itself!

Lemme get personal here:

I had done many spells in the past. Had some positive outcomes and even dreamt of a few ideas or lessons based on those spells. However, I only had my first ‘Vision’ during a ritual back in 2020. I was miserable at my job and I really wanted a change. A BIG Change! I did a bath ritual where I incorporated all the elements and set the Intention of helping me Create this Really Big Change within me and in my external world. I wanted a career I could really love, find balance, use my skills and THRIVE! I didn’t know what that would look like, so I asked my whole Spiritual Team for their aid in this. Played some music, lit candles, did my intention and channeled energies into the water to open my Heart, Mind and Eyes to the best and most fun possibilities!

What I saw:

I was relaxing in the bath after doing my incantations and talking to my Team. The music was playing and I was focusing on getting in a meditative state while trying to keep my intentions in mind. I had a glimpse of a colorful Spider moving their legs weaving the web…. It happened fast and looked REAL, as if I was seeing the Spider with my open eyes- yet my eyes were closed. I immediately opened my eyes and looked around. At first, I was convinced I saw a Spider in my bathroom but it didn’t register until I was relaxed… I was NOT a fan of any kind of Spider in my home LOL…. One of Hubby’s jobs is to remove Spiders so I can stop freaking out LMAO. So I looked everywhere… all nervous and feeling WTF!? No Spiders in my bathroom. Whew! Not physically anyways… I closed my eyes again and got a similar image but this time the focus was more on her front legs weaving a New line into this web… There were water droplets on this new line. Then it faded, my mind tried to figure it all out with a lot of, “did I just see that?” and “WTF, was that a message??”.

Yes, it was…Seems obvious to me now. Yet at the time, I was confused and full of disbelief. I mean, it was my very first vision of ANYTHING! I was still unlearning a LOT so I could build my skills and expand.

So What did it mean???

I began to understand my Intentions were being weaved into my own ‘blueprint’, ‘soul contracts’, ‘life’, etc… Everyone has different views and different words fit better in different belief systems. The changes I wanted were being woven into my unique tapestry so I could have the life I really wanted! I could achieve the balance I wanted while still Thriving!

Ok, what does all this have to do with Uttu?

Well, I would Love to tell you that I knew it was Her soon after that ritual… No. It took me YEARS to process that and finally Consciously Connect to Her in Her Divine Glory. Over the years, I read up on so many of the Weavers and Change Makers from Cultures from all over the world! Even read up on her occasionally. Yet it wasn’t until the last several months that it all began to really click into place for me. So from 2020 to sometime in 2025, I was still unravelling old patterns and conditioning that blocked me from fully Connecting with Her. I connected with so many other Deities and Spirits who have been aiding me along the way… She had been helping me connect with them! She had been helping me shift enough to find the Path I really wanted with a whole bunch of choice points (crossroads) along the way. Hekate is one of my main Guides for these different Crossroads, yet Uttu was the one weaving all these different choices into the Fabric of My Being so it all Stuck and Manifested here in the Physical World!

Uttu has been a Huge Inspiration and until recently, I didn’t even see it. Couldn’t see it. And, this is NORMAL! So please, when you come across similar situations, PLEASE GIVE YOURSELF COMPASSION! Our Spiritual Team already does. They understand our conscious mind can only focus so much on the Ethereal and the Physical at the same time. Plus it gets really difficult when we add our Emotions into the mix.

This often means we have to Release our Fears, Stress, all the shit that holds us down, out of our own Unique Powers. She Guides us (often from afar) helping us Connect with those we need to so we Grow into Who We Want to Be! She has been in the background of my entire life (and Lives) helping me. Because of Her and all those She helped Connect me with, I have been able to Integrate ALL my Lives and change those individual Stories… Helping me to Accept and Integrate my Birthrights. Helping me help Others along the way as well.

In fact, I have a Spell I call the Web of Protection… I have been using it to send Supporting, Comforting, Soothing, Protective Energies to all being targeted by a certain fascist regime… Since early 2025… and I still use it daily. I now know that Uttu was the main Inspiration for that Spell. Didn’t realize until a few months later…
